Council Camperships to Attend Summer Camp
Each year the Grand Canyon Council offers scouts with an economic hardship to apply for a campership (scholarship) to attend our council camps. This year, all campership application are due by the Friday, April 30th. The council application is below: Council Campership Application

Maury Clancy American Indian Campership Fund
Scouts of Native American heritage can also earn specific campership from the Maury Clancy American Indian Campership Fund. This campership is awarded for up to 50% of the cost of summer camp. These surveys must also be completed before the 30th of April. To apply, please complete the survey found here.

2016 Camp Fees

Forms REQUIRED on First Day
  • $235 Camp Fee 
  • $25 Bus Fee (if using bus service) - Must be chosen during the class registration process. Only 50 spaces per week.
  • $25 Rifle Fee for scouts participating in the Rifle Merit Badge Class.
  • $25 Archery Fee for scouts participating in the Archery Merit Badge Class

Every Scout needs to bring a Personal Health & Medical Record, a signed copy of the Code of Conduct, a signed copy of the Waiver of Liability, and a completed Swim Test Classification Record to camp on the first day. Without these forms, the Scout will not be able to participate in camp.

Merit Badge Pre-requisites
All prerequisites must be completed prior to first day of camp. Any prerequisites not met before arrival at camp may result in the scout receiving a partial completion.
Merit Badge Application
Scouts should print out a merit badge application for each merit badge he is participating in at camp. Each merit badge application should be signed by their Leader stating that in his/her opinion this Scout is physically and mentally able to participate in this merit badge course. Blue cards are accepted.

No Swim Checks will be conducted at Lake Pleasant Camp
