Hello Adult Leaders, 

If you are new to Scouting, WELCOME! Thank you for your continued support of Scouting in your community and becoming a My.Scouting User! 

Please follow the instructions below to create you My.Scouting account and add the Chippewa Valley Council as your Council. This will allow you to access many Scouting Resources and the Training Center.  You can do your YPT, Specific Leader Training, and more! all for FREE! 

(Recommended Browsers are Google Chrome for the PC or Safari for the MAC).

1. Go to http://my.scouting.org
2. On the left hand side select CREATE ACCOUNT
3. NOTE: use the same email you provided, or will provide, on your Adult Application. This ensures your application, ypt, training, and membership all link.

3. Once you've created your account, you will have an option to Find a Unit or Visit the Training Page, do neither!
4. Instead select the My.Scouting logo on the top. This will bring you to the home page
5. Select "Menu" on the top left corner
6. Select "Manage my membership ID" 
7. Under the Manamge Member ID you may already see Chippewa Valley Council as your Council, if so, you are good to go. If not, you will see the option to search for a council, select Chippewa Valley Council 637, Eau Claire, WI
8. Copy and Paste your Member ID from the box below, and the "ADD MEMBER ID" button will become blue, and select it (if your member ID was not in a box below, go to the right hand corner, select Profile, copy your member ID, and repeat 4-8). 

Now when you turn in your Adult Application, or if you already have, when the registrar processes your application, it will link all your training! If you provided a different email address on your application, call the Scout Office to get it updated.
