Staffing Changes

The following personnel changes will be effective September 1, 2020.
- Darin Steindl will assume a new position – Director of Support Services. In this role Darin will be responsible for all council support services including property management, IT, risk management, office operations, marketing, communications, camping, advancement, activities, training, and public relations.
- Rob Gilkerson will be promoted to Director of Field Service. In this role Rob will be responsible for all Council Field Operations including Membership, Unit Service, and District Operations.
- Dale Musgrave will be promoted to Director of Development. In this role Dale will supervise and lead the fundraising activities of the council in all areas including operating, Capital, and Endowment.
- Megan Wiesneski will assume a new position as Development Director. Megan will work with Dale and council fundraising volunteers to achieve all annul and strategic goals in this area.
- Melissa “Missy” Halda will be promoted to Council Camping Director where she will be responsible for the development, promotion and implementation of the council’s year round and summer camping programs at Camp Wilderness, the Butler Wilderness Outpost, Heart Butte Scout Reservation, and Big four.
- Thomas Huether will serve as Field Director for the Eastern half of the Council and provide leadership and coaching to the District staff and volunteers in Districts 3, 4, 5, and 8.
- Shaun Grover will be promoted to Senior District Executive of the Northern Sky District.
- Brenda Thomson will serve as District Executive for both Lakes and Ox Cart Trails District.
- An additional District Executive will be hired as soon as identified to work with Lane Schirado to provide direct service in D8 (Lake Agassiz)
- Direct Unit Support staff will be hired to serve the Great Plains District as soon as a good candidate can be identified.
