Mt. Baker Council, B.S.A. is officially kicking off our planning process for the 2021 National Scout Jamboree!  The National Scout Jamboree is the premier scout experience in Scouting.  The Jamboree will take place at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia on July 21-30, 2021.  Mt. Baker Council will be forming contingent troops (scouts from our council who come together to form a temporary unit with volunteer adult leaders and who prepare, travel and work together as a unit at the National Jamboree).

The Jamboree is a ten-day action packed adventure for scouts and/or crew members, both male and female, to do all the best of what scouting has to offer, from mountain biking on some of the toughest courses in the country, to multiple rock climbing/high ropes course and zip lines, from white-water rafting to the finest archery and rifle/shotgun/pistol ranges, and from rocking amphitheater shows to camping with 30,000 of your closest scouting friends.

In early January 2020 we will open up the application process for scouts to attend.  We will also be having informational meetings for families to come get more information and get their questions answers.  Look for more information in the Mountain Echo, on our council’s website and from additional Constant Contact communications. You can get on our communications list by filling out the following form. There is no obligation at this point.
