Dear Unit Leader,

 

As you are aware, due to COVID-19 Patriots’ Path Council has had to make the difficult decision to adjust our summer camp offerings for our Scouting family. We are strongly encouraging our Scouts and Units to take advantage of our outdoor adventures at Winnebago Scout Reservation as well as with our recently launched PPC Outdoor Academy which is offering virtual merit badges and programs that can be  found at  www.ppcoutdooracadamy.org.  

 

As promised, we wanted to provide our families with the ability to wait as long as possible to make a final decision they are comfortable with. That time is drawing closer and we need to encourage everyone to make a decision as soon as possible so that we may plan accordingly. A response would be appreciated by June 15th but can be requested as late as June 30th.

 

Our records indicate you have submitted payment to attend a Patriots' Path Council camp this summer.As the Council has had to cancel this event, we will not be assessing any fees on this value, and 100% of what you have paid to date will either be refunded or reallocated.

 

You can choose one or a combination of the options below:

  • Transfer the funds to camp at Winnebago Scout Reservation
  • Transfer Funds to PPC Outdoor Academy
  • Convert all or part of the funds into a fully tax-deductible gift Patriots’ Path Council Friends of Scouting appeal that has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Transfer the funds to a unit account
  • Refund directly to your credit card as the person who made the original payment*
