Program Information

The Cornhusker Council is committed to making Scouting available to all children. One of Scouting's methods of youth development is the uniform.  Wearing the uniform is an action that shows each Scout's commitment to the aims and purposes of Scouting.  The uniform also provides a way for Scouts to display the awards they have earned by completing requirements found in their Scout handbook.

Recognizing the essential roles of the registration and uniform*, in Scouting, the Cornhusker Council offers assistance for up to 50% of the total costs for Scouts who would not otherwise be able to purchase a basic uniform or registration .  Funding for this program is made possible by the annual Friends of Scouting campaign and popcorn sale.
