Rainier District's Awards Recognition Nominations Form
It is time! Time to recognize and celebrate the efforts of Rainier's Scouts and Scouters throught the year! Please take some time to nominate those in our Scouting family who have done an outstanding job in 2026. *You can submit multiple nominations*
Awards and Recognitions are open to any Scout or Scouter of the Rainier district. Anyone is welcome to submit multiple nominations. Please describe why you are submitting this nomination, you can give specific examples or stories. This is your opportunity to highlight the amazing work that is being done by so many Scouts and Scouters across the district. Please keep in mind that the awards committee only has the nominations to make their decision. Be through and list the volunteers accomplishments to the best of your ability. We ask that you submit your name and email, so if your nominee wins you can help make sure they attend the event!
If you have someone you believe is deserving of an award, but they do not fit into one of our categories please select other and describe your nomiation.
If you would like to nominate someone for the District Award of Merit please fill out the "District Award of Merit" form on the Rainier District Awards Dinner event page or reach out Rachael.weaver@scouting.org for the form. This award needs to be on a specific form because it is a nationally recognized and regulated award.

Overachiever Award: Earned All Achievements For Their Past Rank
Super Achiever Award: Earned All Achievements from every rank from Lions - AOL
Timeless Value Award: Someone who devotes an unwavering amount of time in support to Scouting America. A registered adult that has served for over 25 years in Scouting America.
Bridge Builder: Someone who acts as a bridge between the scouting community and an individual, business, or industry, successfully inspiring their support and fostering a lasting connection to scouting.
Above and Beyond Award: Someone who goes above and beyond their current titled position.
Good Turn of the Year "Unknown Scout": a registered youth selfishly took action or contributed to a good deed, motivated purely by goodwill, without seeking recognition or reward.
Volunteer of the Year "Servant Leader": A dedicated and registered youth whose approach emphasizes service and team empowerment.Their leadership is characterized by humility, empathy, and a deep commitment to fostering the growth and development of others.
