Great Alaska Council, Scouting America | 2026 Registration Assistance Application

Requests may or may not be granted based on available funds and eligibility. Units are encouraged to provide financial assistance through annual fundraising efforts. Council funds are intended to help families in need when unit funds are not available. This application should be completed by parent or guardian. All information will be kept confidential.

Please carefully review the following before completing this application:

• Financial Aid is available to all Scouts with a demonstrated need, dependent on available funds. Priority is given to youth who meet Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) guidelines; any remaining funds may then be distributed to applicants outside of LMI standards, as available.
• Financial Aid is only available to Scouts whom are registered with units chartered in Great Alaska Council, Scouting America.
• Financial Aid is non-transferrable between Scouts.
• There is no deposit required for this request to be reviewed.
• All information requested on this form must be completed before this application can be reviewed.
• Information provided on this application is confidential and will be reviewed by a volunteer committee with names redacted
• All applicant’s will be notified by email of the committee’s decision and the approved amount.
