Request an Eagle Scout Project Review Meeting
While a Life Scout, Scouts must plan, develop, and provide leadership to others in a service project that benefits a religious institution, school, or community. The project must benefit an organization other than Scouting. A project proposal must be approved by the organization benefiting from the effort, the unit leader and unit committee, and the council or district before the project can begin. Resources:
- Guide to Advancement
- Eagle Scout Service Project Fundraising Application
- Service Project Guidelines
- Service Project Planning Guidelines
- Life to Eagle Scout Resources
After obtaining approval from the organization benefiting from the effort, your unit leader and unit committee fill out the form below to request a meeting for district approval. Bring your Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook, No. 512-927, with all required signatures, except the district.
Form is typically completed by the Scout. Contact the district advancement chair if you don't get a response in two business days.
