Camp Staff Application

Sam Houston Area Council has a great challenge each year to provide Scouts and Scouters who attend our camps with a great camping experience. The Sam Houston Area Council is looking for a few dedicated individuals to serve Scouting by being a staff member at one of the council's camps. The requirements are stiff, the jobs are demanding, and the experience is exhilarating.

Camp staff is a truly unforgettable experience. It is a chance to spend your summers and/or weekends working at one of our beautiful camps while teaching kids and having fun. Every day is fully rewarding to you as a staff member and the campers whose lives you have made a difference. Camp work is often demanding as we keep a packed schedule running the campers we serve, but the opportunities, rewards, and experiences available to you on camp staff are endless. Serving on camp staff is the best way to spend summers and/or weekends. 

Applying for camp staff does not automatically mean you will be selected. If selected, additional paperwork must be submitted to the council office.
