The Scouting Campmaster Volunteer Program is an opportunity for individuals to support our camps by assisting with weekend camping operations or helping with camp projects year-round. Campmasters play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for visiting units while also helping to maintain and improve camp facilities.
Key aspects of the Campmaster program include:
- Weekend Campmasters – Assist with check-in, provide camp resources, support units, and help oversee facility use during scheduled camping weekends.
- Project Campmasters – Volunteer at any time throughout the year to help with maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects that keep camps in top shape.
- Program Assistance – Share outdoor skills, offer guidance on camp activities, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for Scouts.
- Service & Leadership – Act as a role model, fostering a positive camp experience while helping preserve and enhance camp facilities.
Campmasters can choose how they serve—whether by supporting weekend campers, working on special projects, or both. This flexible and rewarding volunteer opportunity helps keep camps running smoothly and ready for Scouts to enjoy year-round.
