GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The requirement's are stringent, the jobs demanding, the experience exhilarating:
- The minimum age requirement is 16. In a few cases, a select group of mature 15 year olds may be considered. All youth staff members are encouraged to attain the rank of Eagle Scout.
- Applicants must be registered members of the Boy Scouts of America, or agree to such before employment may be offered.
- The standards of the Scout Oath or Promise and Law must be adhered to.
- Salary is based on position responsibility with consideration given to the individuals' experience.
- All applicants must agree to report on time for staff training (including non-pay days.)
- All Youth members should secure approval of their unit leader prior to applying for a position
- All Youth members must have their parent permission to apply for employment.
