Scouting America National Capital Area Council is pleased to make need-based financial support available to our youth members so that financial constraints are never a barrier to a youth's ability to participate in Scouting. On an annual basis individual Scouts (youth registered in NCAC) may apply for registration assistance and/or camperships. Awards will be made based on complete applications.
In addition to need-based financial support, Scouts and families are encouraged to work with their Units and Chartered Organizations to participate in unit money earning programs, including NCAC-supported sales such as Popcorn and Camp Cards.
Registration Assistance (Scouts are able to request one award, per year):
- Council Participation Fee ($80)
Camperships (Scouts are eligible to request 50% of the cost to attend one camp, per calendar year)
- Summer Day Camp (Any NCAC District, or Snyder)
- Cub Scout Summer Resident Camp (Snyder)
- Bear Week (Snyder)
- Scouts BSA Summer Specialty Camp (Snyder)
- Cub Scout Resident Camp (Camp Ross at Goshen)
- Scouts BSA Resident Camp (Goshen)
- Lenhok'sin High Adventure (Goshen)
- Camp Catoctin
Thank you to all of the individuals and organizations that have graciously given financial gifts to ensure that NCAC has the ability to offer this critical support to our youth members.
If requesting for multiple Scouts please complete one form per Scout, thank you.
