Our History


In 2009, we were typical Scouters - parents, unit leaders, committee members, and district volunteers. As we performed these roles we noticed areas in need of improvement: registration systems that required us to fill out downloaded forms, online registrations that didn't know what a unit was, event check-ins without the proper attendee information, campsite double bookings, difficulty managing t-shirt sales, and even lost registrations. We were not satisfied with the existing software which claimed to be specifically for Boy Scout councils.

As information technology professionals, we decided to see what we could do to correct this situation.

Our Products


Camp Reservation is our first product. While the online ability to make year-round weekend camping reservations was clearly needed by many councils, it was a complete camping solution that councils were lacking - one which fully manages the life of the reservation, including customer service, financial tracking, and ranger functions. Camp Reservation does all this and more, enabling staff to see the big picture of their camping program, with a rich set of reports that ties it all together.

Scouting Event follows Camp Reservation by providing a complete solution for all your activities and events, including Summer Camp, Cub Day Camp, University of Scouting, Wood Badge, Camporalls, NYLT, etc. Online registrations is the start, but full customer service capabilities, financial tracking and refunds, classes and merit badges, online check-in, t-shirt management, event close out, all with a full suite of reports so you can manage your events from start to finish. Units can even manage their own registrations by making changes and applying payments online. There is no other event management system that comes close to matching the Scouting functionality that our system provides!
